Dr. Light has been practicing medicine on the Peninsula since 1984.

He earned a BA in Mathematics from the University of California at San Diego. He graduated from the University of California at Irvine School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Southern Califonia-Western Medical Center and is board certified in Family Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Light was the Monterey County Medical Society Physician of the Year in 2007-8.

He is an avid surfer, freediver, and snowboarder, plays stringed instruments, and likes to sing “old” music from the 60’s and 70’s. He enjoys the study of language and speaks French, Spanish, and Albanian.

He lives in Pacific Grove with his wife Anila, and their son, Daren. He has a daughter who lives in Japan.

Dr. Lo has been practicing in Pacific Grove since 2009.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of California Irvine in 1987.  She then worked in research at REI Harbor UCLA where she was introduced to the medical field by her lead researcher.  She completed her medical degree at Western University, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, in Pomona, California in 1994. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Glendale Adventist Medical Center in 1997 and is board certified in Family Medicine.  She practiced at Kaiser Permanente from 1997-2008, then joined Dr. Light and Pacific Grove Family Medicine in 2009.  She practices Osteopathic Manipulation in addition to Family Medicine.

She enjoys gardening,  growing orchids, hiking, fishing and traveling. She speaks Indonesian fluently.

She lives with her husband and their daughter, son, and nephew.


Osteopathic Medicine

PG Family Medicine is honored to have the services of Dr. Siang Lo, who is an osteopathic physician, or “Osteopath”. Dr. Lo practices all aspects of Family Medicine with a holistic approach-body, mind and spirit. She performs a hands on therapy called Osteopathic Manipulation Treatment (“OMT”). As an Osteopathic physician, Dr. Lo is specially trained to diagnose and treat patients with certain ailments through manual manipulation of muscles, bones, joints and nerves. OMT can greatly help patients with chronic recurring pain of muscular, ligaments, nerves, headaches, etc. and especially it assists your body to heal itself.
